How I can help

I offer individual therapy for adults and teens, all virtual, so you can do this work from wherever you feel most comfortable. I keep my practice small and focused on individual work so that our time is genuinely yours.

Licensed in Tennessee and North Carolina.

Anxiety

You feel keyed up even when nothing's technically wrong: racing thoughts at 2am, a stomach that's always a little tight, the sense that you can't quite put your guard down. That's not a personality flaw. It's a mind and body that learned to stay alert, even when the threat has passed. In our work together, we find ways to help you feel safe enough to relax again, so calm doesn't feel like something you have to force.

Burnout

You used to care about things, and now you're just going through the motions, running on empty, but somehow still expected to perform. Burnout isn't a lack of willpower. It's what happens when you've been pushed past your capacity for too long without enough recovery. In our work together, we look at what depleted you and rebuild a pace and a life you can actually sustain.

Grief

Loss doesn't follow a straight line, and you may find yourself doing fine one moment and undone the next, or wondering why you don't feel the way you think you're supposed to. However grief is showing up for you, you're working through something enormous, in your own time. There's no right way to do this. Together, we create space for your grief to move through you, at whatever pace that takes.

Stress

You're juggling more than feels sustainable, and even when the to-do list clears, your body doesn't seem to get the memo. You're still bracing, still scanning for the next thing. This is what happens when you've been running on high alert for too long: you forget how to switch off. Together, we work on giving yourself real permission to come down off high alert, not just for a weekend, but for good.

Depression

Some days it's not sadness so much as flatness. Everything feels far away, harder than it should be, like you're moving through fog. This can be your way of shutting down to protect yourself when things have felt like too much for too long. It's not a character flaw, and it's not permanent. Together, we work on gently bringing you back online, reconnecting you with energy, motivation, and the parts of life that used to feel like yours.

Relationship Issues

You may find yourself repeating the same painful patterns, struggling to trust, or feeling either too close for comfort or too far to feel connected. These patterns usually trace back to what you learned early on about safety and closeness. In our work together, we look at those patterns with curiosity instead of judgment, and build the tools to help your relationships feel steadier and more secure.
